@murksiderock you really dapped this nonsense?

What impact does grabbing an uncontested rebound really have in the grand scheme of things, in relation to all the other actions in the game? And this doesn't just apply to Westbrook. This applies to grabbing uncontested rebounds, in general.

The alternative to not grabbing the uncontested rebound is the opponent maintains possession and offers another opportunity at points at your expense. I have no clue where this idea that grabbing a rebound is unimportant comes from, and thats what I was saluting...

Now, its clear that a number of Westbrook's rebounds don't come within within the organic flow of a game, but thats a different conversation that I wasn't addressing. And no, I wouldn't regard that as winning basketball play...

U really hate Westbrook lol

that’s like me criticizing Bron for losing his nba finals.
No, criticizing Westbrook for never winning more than two games in a playoff series as the #1 is NOT the same as criticizing Bron for "only" making the Finals damn near every year for a decade and winning four times. LoL.

Being Bron the best player ever and lost playing alongside two other all stars on two different occasions for 8 of the last 11 years. With that much talent he should not ever loss. No matter the opponent.
I know y'all want to make every thread about Bron but your numbers are way off (it was 5 years, not 8, and half the time they weren't even playing healthy). And no, having Kyrie/Love or Bosh and declining Wade is not so amazing a lineup that it guarantees a win regardless of opponent.

Why don't you just start with the basic facts that Bron actually performs well in the playoffs, and Westbrook plays like shyt?

And y’all talk about players getting better when the leave Russ.
Not sure where you're reading that. We were talking about him taking rebounds from his teammates, not then "getting better".

So the only year out of 9 where Bron didn’t play with a allstar. Brandon Ingram became a allstar the very moment he left Bron.
Bron played something like 32 career games with Ingram, y'all reach like a motherfukker.

Now Bron on season 2 with a top 10-15 big of all time. the top 6th men of the year. alongside the greatest rebounder of this generation lol

It’s no reason for my Lakers to lose
2 of the 3 guys you named are so useless they shouldn't even be on the court. One was just dropped by his team for nothing. Why say dumb shyt?

From 2010-2018
Bron played with 2 all stars.
Wade bosh
Love Kyrie
Love & Thomas

Rose was 19ppg on 47% in NY

His first laker year was the only year with no all star. And a guy on that team became one the next season

Give any superstar that much support they will win. Because I guarantee if Russ, KD & Harden played together for 8-10 years they would have 3 or 4 rings. Just like Bron.

so criticize for Russ about his shooting all y’all want. But don’t come at me with he not a winner

Are you crazy??!!! Playing with Russ is so frustrating, that longevity would be impossible. He's the worst superstar of all time. Literally fool's gold.

Curry's elite shooting has been part of a multi-championship winning success. Russ' triple doubles are forced, empty stats. If Bron were an idiot, he could have forced triple doubles every game and lost 20% more games every season/post-season.
I like curry but let’s not act like his first ring aint come at the expense of Kevin Love & Kyrie Irving being gone the whole series

his 2nd and 3rd came courtesy of the arrival of Their 2x finals MVP KD

seems like ppl that play with him don’t say that. And if you wanna break down past series with KD in OKC look at KDs lack of movement without the ball. Now that might be due to how Scott brooks runs shyt but on a lot of possessions when KD is being denied the ball/doubled Russ had to just do whatever…. This probably doesn’t happen if Harden is kept on the squad. But we see how having the threat of a trio of offensive players frees up KD

It's a Steph vs. Westbrook thread but these clowns literally can't think of anything other than Bron. :mjlol:

Four years of Wade/Bosh. They had some serious injury issues 2012-2014 but they at least finished the season.

In 2015 both Kyrie and Love got knocked out for the season so how can you say Bron should have won a title with them?
In 2016 Love wasn't an All-Star. On top of that he missed part of the Finals with a concussion and looked NOTHING like an All-Star when he did play.
2017 was the only year in Cleveland that Bron finished a season with two All-Stars. Of course, he faced the Durant-Steph-Klay-Dray-Iggy Warriors in the Finals that year.
2018 you counted fukking IT? The post-injury washed midget who only played 15 midseason games before getting dumped?

I swear y'all are fukking clowns. :mjlol:

Make "guarantees" based on a track record of zero success brehs. Those guys won literally nothing together. :francis:

And if Bron played with two other MVPs for 8-10 years he'd probably have a lot more than 3-4 rings. :dead:

KD doesn’t get the same type of flack for ball stopping like Russ (maybe bc he’s an all time great scorer), but it appeared everyone else had to adjust (for better or for worse) around him

None of those Okc dudes won a mvp before they were broken up.

All u do is make excuses for Bron teams. But won’t talk about PG being banged up both playoff runs and playing like complete shyt

talk about Melo being a all star

Bron couldn’t make it work with Wade, Rose or Thomas that same season

Most players ain't gonna openly trash a teammate, but Harden and Westbrook were mad beefing in Houston and KD liked that tweet saying "Russ was the problem".

The problem with Russ is that he's not helpful if he doesn't have the ball, but he makes WOAT decisions when he does have the ball. That's a pretty tight spot for a teammate to be in, especially a teammate like KD or Harden who prefers to do their own thing with the ball to create their shots.

PG13 averaged 25-6-3 and 29-9-4 in those two OKC playoff runs, both times on better shooting #'s than Westbrook, and you call that "playing like complete shyt". :laff:

But then you trying to gas up post-injury IT and D-Rose who struggled through a handful of midseason games while limping. :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

I swear some of you just post here to mock Bron haters and make them look bad. :russ:

I wanna know what kind of Christmas gifts he got Steven adams for stealing all of his boards. Must be better than Brady treats his O Line because that free rebounding is ridiculous
