I forgot about this until I saw it scroll across the firestick home screen. Watching now and as these 2 kids chasing Harold on his bike. I'm thinking how he on a bike letting a nikka keep up with him on feet?:ohhh: As I'm thinking that, Harold takes a glance behind him a calls dude a T-1000:lolbron:

Starting off with Zone clean up is different. Harold not starting off as a fat kid in this one. Fran doesn't look college aged in this so far either. Curious to see other changes. I'm only 6 minutes in.

def not doing it justice...this needed to be on HBO
Yea the last episode was a step down for me. The only way to tell King's story right is HBO. The pacing of this still feels like TV to me and some of these scenes leave me yelling b/c they didnt go all the way. I'm not sure how many episodes this is but it seems like the pacing is way too fast.

Episode 8 felt rushed but I figured that must be because it's the finale. But I just saw there's a whole episode left... What's left to do besides for Stu to return and for Frannie to give birth? :dwillhuh:

Could’ve done without that 5 minute montage of them walking to Vegas just playing music and showing the landscape lol

they really let CBS go all in with the chick calling Tom a retard like 100 times sheesh

all of Tom’s scenes make me nervous. Ain’t no way I would’ve voted to send him out there.

I peeped Steven King on that poster at the bus stop lol random AF

I kept calling Stu the wrong name since I watched Westworld. He played damn near the same character.

fukk Harold. That’s that entitled white male incel shyt.

This was disappointing. Outside of Mother A and Tom Cullen, the rest of the characters just didn't have enough there. I hated the jump-arounds in the first couple of episodes. And now they're really gonna spend an entire episode of Stu getting back home?

1994 TV miniseries is better.

A King story with a disappointing ending? That's new. Most of King's stories dont deserve faithful adaptions because they work better when someone else throws their spin on it.

See the Shining and Dr Sleep.
