TBH I think it's one of his easier books to adapt

it’s easy to adapt but this is cbs, the guy who did the original miniseries was pretty tone deaf (yet he’s working on it again), Stephen king is actually excited about the scripts (all the adaptions he actually liked were trash except “the outsider”). It’s wild that when I look up his reaction to all the good movie adaptions, (universally enjoyed and translated the book well) he seems to hate them lmao. I don’t think he truly likes the newer it adaption, deep down inside, even though it’s a great adaption of the book.

Randall Flagg has been like a harbinger of evil things happening across the SK universe. He’s originally from the dark tower but wanders through the stand, etc. enabling apocalypse’s. It is some kind of old ass space predator that landed on earth before life started. The thing on outsider is a pennywise-lite that is relatively young and eats pain and fear a similar way. Yeah that was supposed to be the same as Matthews’s character. Damn they fukked that story up. It should have been an hbo miniseries with a big ass budget. I don’t think he was involved in Dr. Sleep’s story.

The Stand is one of my favorite Stephen King stories (along with The Langoliers). I rocked with the tv series heavy, even those it was cheesy as hell.

I'm not sure how I feel about this being on CBS All Access. Maybe they should have done something similar to how they did 11/22/63 on Hulu.
