I’ll give it a watch. Never seen the OG. I just remember it was like 6 tapes you had to rent at Blockbuster lol

I enjoyed the first episode well enough. The time jumps were unnecessarily confusing, and I don't know why they pulled the trigger on Harold being the villain so early - kinda kills any opportunity for character development

The Stand is one of my favorite Stephen King stories (along with The Langoliers). I rocked with the tv series heavy, even those it was cheesy as hell.

I'm not sure how I feel about this being on CBS All Access. Maybe they should have done something similar to how they did 11/22/63 on Hulu.
I'm surprised at you putting Langoliers up there like that. I only read it once but feel like the entire story could be summarized in maybe two lines tops.

Watched the first episode yesterday and it wasn't bad but the way they're time jumping around is gonna confuse a lot of people but I guess it's needed in order to cover a lot of ground. What they did with Harold was cool I guess and I don't mind the changes its to be expected with adapting the story for today's time. I could go in but I'll leave the complaints for later. I just feel if they're gonna jump around like this the story is gonna be disjointed and go to shyt quickly.

I enjoyed it. It seems like it's gonna be at least as good as the 90's jawn with Gary Sinise and Molly Ringwald. They made Harold instantly unlikable. I can't wait until they introduce Tom Cullen (spelled M-o-o-n). Bill Fagerbakke killed that role.
