i enjoyed it. there seems to be a lot of hidden things in this movie that needs a rewatching, but it was enjoyable

things that i did catch on to
were the constant turtle references, when the losers were in the sewer and were all hugged up, the only ones not hugging were stan and eddie, and at the end when they finally depart, stan leaves first, followed by eddie

Saw it earlier tonight finally YOOOOOOO:damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn::damn:
Richie the gawd:laff::laff::laff:Now I gotta kill a fukking clown:hhh:
Gorgie:wow:Skarsgard:blessed:Bev, Mike, Bill, Ben, Eddie, Stan :salute:Ayo the fukk
was up with Henry legit carving my man Ben?!:mindblown::wtf:fukking psychopath and them old people just left him like that I was heated. Them jumping Mike:pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:The garage scene:gladbron::gladbron::whoo::merchant::whoa::damn::damn::damn:Got big as fukk!!!:damn::damn:9/10 got to see this again :dead:

finished watching it a few hours ago. As far as a horror flick goes it was lowkey trash. Im a grown man so i wasnt gonna be scared anyway but i felt after the first scene pennywise was tame af. He did so much "im scary, arent i?" shyt that it just got annoying after awhile. The kids were entertaining tho and there lil back stories were interesting even tho it was the same ol tropes but they had to follow the book so i get it. After i found out the black kid role was a lot more major in the book with the shyt he had to go thru i was kinda pissed he was so underutilized. Its whatever tho, i was sorta entertained. Glad i didnt spend money on it tho and prolly will nvr watch it again

nikkas...I know we all liked True Detective season 1 but I read Fukunaga's IT script and it was GARBAGE. We need to be thankful he wasnt involved and we got the movie we did because his script was straight garbage

really engaging movie. i can see why some people didnt find it scary enough, because the creepy aesthetic was kind of specific. for me tho, it was not "scary" but absolutely chilling, especially the projector scene and the jigging scene. whoever put some of those visuals together is a demented, sick fukk. not to mention the sound design that went with it. crazy flick, i put this right with poltergeist as one of the only horror movies worth watching. the horror genre typically fails me

edit - and the scene when he unfolded out that box like a transformer? just fukking creepy. i think them getting you so invested in the characters made it easy to imagine how it would feel to actually see that shyt happen. creepy creepy creepy

@Ironman you must've just seen it. Whats your review cuz
I loved it brotha I didn't go in expecting it to be scary I was dying with how IT was:troll:throughout the movie. I loved all the kid actors though and understood why they reacted like they did. It was more chilling which was fine to me:wow:Only things that reay bothered me was Mike not getting as much screentime and the cgi in certain scenes was spotty. I would have like a little more background on why adults seem to be aware of what's happening and
that signing the 91 people did before they died
Didn't ruin my experience though:ehh:I saw that picture scene with Stan coming but was still:picard::sadcam:The garage scene though fukk Derry:hubie::patrice:Hold on though....
So the kids that were floating down after the Losers club handed them the fade are dead right? Only Georgie seemed to not have a body left :merchant:
Skarsgard definitely had a screen presence that I enjoyed and I was:mjlol:
at him waving that kids arm at Mike what a dikkhead:russ::russ::russ::russ:

SO after a week, everyone is pretty much saying the same thing. Good not great, too much CGI that was subpar, good performances by the kids and Pennywise, not really scary.

I think we won't be able to really judge until Part 2. I will say that the director already fukked up by not filming both parts together, so I hope they have enough scenes to incorporate already. I've been informed that filming starts this week, and I responded they haven't even announced the adults yet. But you figure, they can't wait too long with child actors, so prob working on their scenes first.
