She's back
She's been back for awhile. Negged me randomly for old times sake. I was going to make mention of it but I think I was drunk and passed out.
She's back
"IT" was awesome. "IT" is just as good as the original.(if not better) the new Pennywise was great.(Still can't fukk with Tim Curry) He was more creepy compared to Tim, but I still prefer Tim Curry as Pennywise.
The new Pennywise was good in his own right, I loved the preformance in the fact the new guy made "IT" His own. He was a different interpretation of the character which is just as good as the original Pennywise but I still like the old one a lil better.
The interaction the kids had felt more realistic compared to the original. the kids did really good, especially the boy who played Eddie. He was funny, sarcastic, and pretty much stole the show from the rest of the kids.
overall I love this movie, although It didn't scare me, I loved to way Pennywise fukked with the kids. the psychological games He played with the kids we're more true to the book than the miniseries, but the miniseries scared me in some parts even when rewatching the original "IT" it still creeped Me out more then this new one.
Overall, I loved "IT" excellent movie other horror remakes will have to step their game up to complete with this one no excuses 9/10.
Just finished dl it. #3 today
It was cool. I give it a B -.I really wish Cary would've got to direct it.
I don't think I can be scared or even made to jump by a movie at this point. I started having an internal philosophical conversation with myself mid-film . Once you reach adulthood is film really a medium where "scary" can be adequately conveyed? Fear to me is visceral journey. I think the best you can hope for in relation to film is a tension filled experience. I say that because the movie that scared me the most in my entire life really had nothing directly to do with the movie. The movie was Species when I was like 10. It was my still developing sense of sexuality and the abstract thought that you could be about to give a woman them prime Justin Slayer Booty Talk strokes and she turns into a damn alien on your ass .
Books can be scary as fukk because you're only limited in the experience by your own imagination or lack thereof. I started to wonder why can video games (i.e. another visual medium) for example be scarier than movies? I concluded it's because you're directly in control of the character's decision making process in most instances and their outcome. If you're playing RE:3 and you have only one door to open, and feel in your stomach that Nemesis is behind that door you may have to hit a . You have to actually choose to go through that door. You're not watching someone else do it on some voyeur tip like .
Then I finished my box of junior mints.
This has nothing to do with the movie, but last night was the first time in my 33 years that I felt old . There was so many jits (13,14,15, 16, et al) in the theater talking and shyt the entire movie, in constant motion to and from who knows the fukk where, taking snapchat pics and shyt. One of the worst movie experiences I ever had.
I think of it like a spider who casts its web..are the kids that are floating the ones that didnt show fear and werent eaten?
Yeah these fukking kids tried to ruin my experience tooIt was cool. I give it a B -.I really wish Cary would've got to direct it.
