Well, nothing in the movie was scary to me but I look at scene execution, cinematography, shyt like that. And the refrigerator scene was cool as hell, visually. He was like a Rubix Cube.

Fred.
The way he unfolded out of that freezer :banderas: Visually, it was the most impressive moment in the movie to me. That shyt was mesmerizing.

:ohhh:I need that as an in gif.

Good movie. Coulda been a classic if they did the kids bettter. Nothing wrong with their acting but the dialogue was eh. Corny jokes and I didn't feel like they were like friends at all. I felt more togetherness in Stranger Things then with these kids. Not familiar with the TV series but Pennywise did his thing. That niguh shaking and some of the stupid stuff the kids was the funniest parts. That girl was a straight up runner. They didn't even need that part in the book that everybody talks about to know she would run a train easily.

I love that scene, especially because of what happens in Part 2.

Yeah, I think the setup for that portion of Part 2 was done really well (not just that particular scene, but others as well).

What parts in part 2 y'all talking bout. Its been bout 5 years since i last read the book
Might reread the book after watching this.

I think the original is more creepy. I watch it all of the time. There's like 0 comedy in the OG. The few lighthearted moments that they have, are instantly turned somber. There was never a sense that the kids got to enjoy life, and they carried into adulthood. These kids have their moments of fun. The town/residents of Derry are also given more life, even through the kids just interacting with them. The mini also moves at a slower pace, with mostly dialog which adds to the mood of Derry, while this is clearly made to be a movie.

I disagree with those that say Tim Curry was overacting. He acted as a clown, a clown with some effed up tendencies. This Pennywise acted as a creature tryna mimic a clown. IMO, that's the difference in the 2 performances.
This 100%. Clowns aren't known for subtlety. I think Curry did a great job with the character and turned what would otherwise be forgettable movie into a classic.

@MartyMcFly You still ain't peeped? :lupe:

Gonna be a busy weekend for you between this and your "Atlanta(An American Comedy Series Starring Donald Glover)" marathon.:lolbron:

Got tix for 8 tonight. Was on a family vacay last weekend and if The Godfather has taught me anything it’s that you can’t be a man if you don’t take care of your family

:jbhmm:I wonder how they'll handle this part since they've changed Mike's entire character for whatever reason.

Ok. Don't know why i was thinking of something else. That was the first thing i thought about when they had to beg him to come in the house with them. When he got that phone call that nikka was like NOPE! Not doing that shyt again.
