Can't speak for anyone else. But in my household I was looking up to my parents and people like them as role models, not people I can't personally relate to. That's the first issue and why we shouldn't even be talking about this.
I think it's counterproductive to put entertainers on a pedestal. They will show their ass eventually and you only have yourself to blame for putting regular people who just happen to have a lot of money on a moral platform they probably didn't even ask for

28 pages so im late and this has probably been touched on but boom:
1. Kid grows up in inner city around black people and goes to predominantly black schools up until middle school where there are plenty of black girls but hasnt yet fully developed or matured to be deemed desirable by the girls he goes to school with OR hasnt hit that phase where he takes interest in actually getting with girls
2. At the same time he is playing middle school basketball or for football recreation/pop warner and getting recruited by the top high school programs in their county which 9 times out of 10 is probably some catholic school or private school where it is predominantly white, offers the family a free ride to said school because it'd be hard for them to afford it otherwise
3. Develops and matures and comes into his own while in this cac filled private school and these white girls throw themselves at the black athletes in the school, he becomes no exception and has a type going forward
cant really say the same for a white player when hes mostly surrounded by cacs in every school he goes to so the likely hood of him ending up with a black woman isnt high... but we all know hes just trying to get back in black womens good graces after that shyt he said about his baby mothers

At the very least do no harm, and take accountability for your own PREFERENCES!
