There’s no supreme “top gang thug” in the words of c00n Pastor Darrell Scott that you can call that tells every fool with a gun to leave you alone. It also doesn’t guarantee you some random dudes who don’t know or care about you will hold you down.
Tapping in with people you know and letting them know you’re in town is normal. If “checking in” means you calling some dudes you know making sure you have hammers on deck if needed means you don’t have any business there or you need to grow up and show some concern for yourself.
