It's my understanding that a generational talent is someone who effects the game in every aspect. To me, when I think "generational talent," I think of a guy that you can plop onto any team and single handedly see that team enjoy 20-30 more wins off his presence alone. Just a complete game changer. Think prime Shaq, prime Kobe, prime Bron. Davis is going to be on his way there, he essentially was handed the same situation as Kevin Love but did what Love never did, got his team into the offs.

And he wasn't even carrying a trash squad putting up eye popping stats during that time either. Guys like Kobe, Bron and MJ were putting up MONSTER lines even when their teams were trash, and they were winning--even if it was mediocre winning, they were still often getting to the POs. Curry's statistical rise has completely coincided with the rise in talent of his team but let's both just sit here and pretend he's a "generational talent."
