:dahell: He doesn't ask generic questions that will bore the audience, he asks more engaging questions from standpoint of something who obviously didn't read not inform of the issue. I'm not seeing how he terrible interviewer.

there always awkward if the person is liberal. the fake conservative act is running dry. and this is coming from someone who watches daily show/colbert every day.

Bad move. Not sure the country is ready for this clown for a full hour. Plus all the old white conservatives that make up the late night viewing audience likely will be turned off from watching.

They're still going to watch him over Fallon.

Late Night show ratings are the highest they've been in years.

Also, you guys are underselling Colbert, dude has all the prerequisites to be a an elite Late Night host. 20 years + in the comedy game, he has had his own show for years and has done so much other stuff prior to the show. He has great timing, is intelligent, and he can engage and challenge the guests without putting off the audience. He will do very well.
