All season I read how good Amir Johnson's and Valuciunas "per 36 minutes" stats were. They looked great against Washington, huh?

PER, per 36 mins stats are a great way to get a GM fired.

I, no lie, read this year that Kyle Korver would average Wilt Chamberlain numbers if he shot as much as Allen Iverson. I know most people don't take advanced stats serious, but those are type of comments that people justify by advanced stats.

Analytics heavy teams still have yet to win a ring, and it'll stay that way. The analytics heavy Rockets just made it to the second round finally. OKC is watching from the couch. The Sixers love analytics and they're the worst team in the NBA. Don't give me the Spurs, they have 3 hall of famers.
These are terrible examples and half truths with no context but I think analytic s is only part of what you need to use to be successful.
