That Curry is in a GOAT-tier level of offensive impact.
And 35 PPG on Kobe's efficiency is nowhere near as impressive as Curry's 30 on much higher percentages. And who cares about an 81 point game? I don't place much value on single game scoring explosions when discussing how good a player is.
Curry is a better offensive player than Kobe which is why he shyts on him statistically.
Maybe if Kobe was better at putting the ball in the rim.
AGAIN, CURRY IS A BENEFACTOR OF THAT SYSTEM
.. KOBE NEVER GOT THE OPEN LOOKS THAT CURRY DOES IN THIS SYSTEM, BECAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS DOUBLE N TRIPLE TEAMED. AND 35 PPG WILL ALWAYS BE MORE IMPRESSIVE THAN 30 PPG .. BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY, THE MORE U SCORE, THE MORE U WIN ....... AND KOBE CAN SCORE IN MORE WAYS THAN STEPH. THIS FACT IS INDISPUTABLE .. NOT TO MENTION, U KEEP IGNORING DEFENSE, WHICH IS 50% OF THE GAME.
Curry isn't hitting open looks though.
He's hitting contested 3s like it's nothing.

What is this magical system that allows someone to pull up a stepback 3 with a hand in their face?![]()
@Poitier
I'm at the run-and-shoot in Atlanta. pull up and bring a stack with you
You weigh 150
This gonna be shaq vs chris dudley
MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE A GAME.. BUT MOST THE TIME HES GETTIN CLEAN LOOKS OFF DOUBLE SCREENS, TO THE POINT WHERE SOME PLAYERS HAVE COMPLAINED THAT ITS ILLEGAL. DO U NOT WATCH HIM PLAY?
Most of the times he's getting clean looks off double screens?
nikka, that is completely false and you need to back that nonsense up with some evidence.![]()
WATCHIN THE GAME AS I POST....ONLY THREE CURRY HAS MADE SO FAR HAS BEEN WIDE OPEN. PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING SON.
Neither does Steph. He typically switches off ball-handlers when there's the chance he might get into or is in foul trouble. These dudes must have forgotten those insane runs that Kobe put on in the playoffs during the Lakers 3 championships in the early 2000s. Dude was damn near matching Shaq in points on some of those Western conference playoffs series and still guarding the best wing player.....not hiding on non offensive players.
And Kobe was the closer on that team in the forth qtr.
Still the greatest set of scoring I have ever seen even with MJ is when Kobe scored 30 or more in that streak as he was going back and fourth to court in Colorado. shyt was insane to see that dude perform under that level of stress and scrutiny. Never seen nothing like it.
