I don't want to agree, but if Steph is going to keep doing this at this efficiency, it's probably a fact.

Steph is about to have 30-5-7-2 steals, 50-40-90, 400 threes on a 73-win basketball team while also being a plus defender and win back-to-back MVP and championships. Kobe doesn't have a single season close to that. Not just the stats, but the winning/accolades.

Thread title is a joke.

Y'all give Curry way too credit.

Yeah he's balling right now and there's nothing wrong with giving credit where credit is due in that regard, but some of the things that's been said in the coliseum is disrespectful.

I've heard he's better than prime t-mac, prime A.I., and prime kobe.:shaq2:

Kobe won 3 straight rings while being a top 3 scorer in the game and a top 5 defender.

nikka what the fukk have "Prime" T-Mac and AI accomplished to be considered better than Curry? :laff:

T-Mac...a nikka that didn't even get out of 1st round until he was a washed up and fresh out the CBA playing for the Spurs as a 3rd stringer. Curry has not only passed him but he's lapped him about 3 times already. :laff: :laff: :laff:

Kobe never finished in the top 3 in any of those seasons and trailed Shaq every season. He was an elite defender, though. People use revisionist history because Shaq left LA, but he was the alpha dog on that team, man. Came one vote away from being the first ever unanimous MVP and cooked in all 3 finals series. Kobe was in that top 5-7 talk, but he wasn't better than Curry to me.

At their peaks they were some of the greatest players to play the game and some of the greatest scorers the game has ever seen. Team success and individual success are not one in the same. Yes they correlate with one another to an extent, but they're not equal. Individual players don't wins champions. Teams win champions. Also eras play a part as well.

Charles Barkley is arguably the greatest pf to play the game and he never won any rings.

Ironically, Curry is a better scorer than both of them though. :deadmanny:
