Its the pressure + volume + speed + intensity + strength....hes basically like fighting a Welterweight version of a Bear.

He just overwhelms you.

Skill alone is not good enough to beat Porter...you have to FIGHT him off of you, not Box.

I enjoy his style bc it shows that technical skill isnt the end all/be all of #TheSweetScience

It speaks of the severe dip in talent from Mayweather/Pacman/Cotto/Mosley era in that Porter...whom I have nothing against is considered elite....this nikka at 154 against Charlo is a walking KO with that style....God bless him and his fans but this shyt is awful.....or that beating Berto means something. I'd rather watch bum ass Khan than something like this shyt again.

Thurman/Swift/Porter are all basically the same talent wise...it's fun to watch in a way since they're all on the same level but none of them is elite. We'll see if Spence can separate himself.

I am not hating on Shawn Porter. He has 2 losses to 2 very good fighters....but his style is dirty as fukk and not in a talented Bhop or Ward way....IDGAF that shyt is awful.

And if he keeps headbutting someone they need to low blow his ass in the balls. I know he gets a pass cause he seems like a genuinely nice guy but that shyts on purpose.

Well since Berto is the much better boxer and is strong enough for the wrestling shyt, not afraid to let his hands go (Broner), and has the ability to knock him down like Broner, I will go ahead and put my money on Berto...

I will say I am biased against Porter though. Dudes style is trash to me..

Berto should have the strength and boxing ability to do what Broner couldn't do but Kell brook and Keith Thurman did.

Porters style makes fighters uncomfortable and fights look bad... He just mauls like a UFC nikka... Just smother his own punches and doesnt even care. If you let your hands go you can school him like Kell brook did

Both of them won close fights over Porter....Thurman was even booed when the results were read.



It's not easy to beat Porter and Berto doesn't possess the talent to beat him.

And then facing Floyd was an experience I think he learned from.

Only person of note that Porter has won over imo is Devon Alexander.

He lost to his only 2 really good fighters in past few fights. I don't claim Broner as such because he did the exact opposite of what he shouldve done and always does dumb shyt when he fights against someone that can shoot him into the superstar status he claims to be.

I can see this going in Porters way for being the younger fighter but dudes boxing is atrocious to watch most of the time. Its not even boxing.

I think if Broner can put him down so can Berto... But I also seen think Berto can be put down as well.

If Berto does go down, fatigue might be the main reason. Berto is slick and has power/strength/speed to drop Porter at least once. Plus he's not afraid to let his hands go and I think he will do better inside than Thurman could.

It can go either way imo but I want Berto to win

We haven't seen Ber beat even a B fighter since getting busted for PEDs...on Saturday, Porter is gonna beat him as well. If Porter wasn't that good, both Thurman and Brook would've had a easy night with him being they are better technically.

My fondest memory is him getting his ass whipped in the philly shell which his body/arms were too short for.

Next is the first Ortiz fight... All losses.

But Porter is ass to me.. Not saying he can't win, but he didn't impress me AT ALL against people who have decent boxing skills, some power, and let they hands go offensively. Broner didn't do that and Malinaggi has pillows for hands so he wasn't going to stop the pressure.

Porter is younger but one dimensional as fukk.. Just rush, wrestle, and lean on you until you get tired.

Seeing as to how I believe if Berto doesn't do any stupid shyt and is a better boxer than Porter, and is also strong, quick, and has the ability to knock Porter down then I am leaning towards him and his style.
