Lois Lane is a groupie. You got power, she'll holler at you (Lex Luther, Bruce Wayne, and others). She didn't want Clark / Kal-El, she wanted Superman.

I'm happy Superman upgraded, Wonder Woman > Lois
Sam Raimi Movie version of Mary Jane Watson was the same way

:ohhh: now that I noticed it I'm like wow...

For real, I didn't think about it either until someone brought it up.

With Wonder Woman, he doesn't have to front at all. He can be straight up Kal-El.

With Lois, he tries to be on that "relate to humans" Clark Kent shyt, which is stupid. Breh is practically a god. Meanwhile Lois got him by the balls.:martin:

Lois wants the Man of Steel, not the Journalist or the Kryptonian.

Since Filestube changed its ways, does anyone have a reliable source to dl comics from? Ya'll be dropping so many dope panels and series/events that I've missed out on that I wanna go back into and digital is the obvious best and most efficient way to read these joints. Looks damn good on the ipad.
really late but ComicsForest

He should be written by a good writer the race of the writer shouldn't matter. BP isn't even American the black writer thing should apply more to Luke Cage or Falcon etc

Doesn't matter to me....there are like zero black creators on marvel and dc......and I chose Black Panther because I don't like to front, I've never read a solo Black Panther run ever. And with the Black Panther being in Civil war and getting his own book, you just know marvel is about to give him a solo. I want that solo to written by someone who is not afraid to write a group of Africans as superior, and I believe only a Black writer would have the balls to do it.

Not only that but I want the book to bring me into Africa and African culture, similar how Ms Marvel is sprinkled with Muslim culture (even though the writer is a white Muslim)

Nikkas need to realize that Batman beats Superman because at the very end of the day, Superman doesn't WANT to beat Batman's ass. He doesn't WANT to hurt Batman, no matter what (at least in most continuities that I've read) because at the end of the day? Deep down Superman is a GOOD DUDE who doesn't kill anybody and won't go through that one on one street fight shyt with his homie - but Batman will.

That's not true. DC has Walker and Ken lashley doing stuff for them, Marvel currently has Walker, the guy on ghost rider, and the artist on Runaways doing stuff for them and coipel is pretty much they bring in to launch something big. The recent controversy was silly to me.

So what your saying is the number of black creators in the big two is less then 5%, which none of them are on a big book.......look I want my Black Panther book to read a certain way coming from a certain perspective. If that's to much to ask then I'm sorry. It's my opinion.

-Ra's Al Ghul is a more compelling villain than the joker

-Hal Jordan should have stayed dead

-Wally West was a waaaaaay more interesting Flash than Barry Allen
Expounding on this Barry made it a hot line, Wally made it a hot song. Kyle Rayner got the shaft and in my opinion should be the go to Lantern. I haven't cared for any Robin after Tim Drake, Damian included. He was on his way to greatness pre-New52.

Completely disagree with the bold. A lot of writers, a lot of them were non-black, have treated him no differently than a Luke cage, war machine, or falcon: relegated to the background and taking L's.

Yes, there have been non-black writers who wrote him well, and whoever is the next writer should be the best available that is willing to write him in a respectful and knowledgable manner, regardless of the writer's race. But to say the black writer thing doesn't apply to BP, I disagree.

Btw, just cuz the writer is black, doesn't mean he/she will be African-American. He/She could be african, Caribbean, etc.

I hear what you are saying bruh

Its just... I been reading comics for almost 30 years, you hear all kind of ideas on a book, but they rarely get supported and the only way to keep a certain type of book going is to support it. Everyone raves about Chistopher Priest's Black Panther (and several of his books like The Crew) but nobody was buying that shyt (except me :-/ ) and it didn't last. What we need is to start financially supporting these projects just to open a door to get more of them.
