Nope. If you are feeling that heavy in the quads, means your form is fukkED up or you got mad muscular imbalances. Likely just your form not right yet.
cool. which body part(s) should I be feeling it in the most? Aside from low-back

Lost a couple of inches off my waist. Went from 28.5 to 26.5 :blessed:.

Still going strong. Hope to get to 25 inches in a couple of weeks.

So I should chill out on riding my bike and hit the weights:ohhh:

I wouldn't say chill, but you can definitely burn a shyt load of calories with weights and exercises. if you have the endurance/preference for it.

this is probably the work out that burns the most calories for me:

Superset Weight Training Exercises Sets x Reps

A

Barbell Squats 2 x 6-8
Body Row 2 x 8-10
Plank Exercise Hold for 60s

B

Box Jumps 3 x 12-15
Pushups to Plank Exercise 3 x 15-20
Bicycle Crunch Exercise 3 x 12-15 Per Side

C

Dumbbell Lunge 2 x 8-10 Per Leg
Dumbbell Front Raise 2 x 8-10 Per Arm
Good Morning 2 x 10-12

I started out doing it strictly like this, then I increased each individual set +1 like 4 weeks later. I started out going through the entire circuit twice but now am able to go through it 3 times.

By the time im done I usually am north of 1100 calories burned. takes close to 1.5 hours to complete.

Still not great, but I've only really started going to the gym within the last 2 weeks. I'm eager to get rid of the stomach fat and get stronger as I'm extremely weak, despite being 6'2 210lbs. Plan is to stick with Stronglifts for the next 4-6 months or so and then switch to a slightly more advanced program once I have a good base level of fitness under my belt.

Not a bad update I suppose! Fat's going, slowly but surely. And I'm getting stronger. Not too much aesthetically speaking but I'm confident that at least by Autumn, I'll have a better shape.

Yeah, do not let the lack of a drastic and immediate visual change deter you from continuing breh. There is a slight change though... so you know you're doing right.

You WILL get to the point where you'll see it.

Keep pushing.

Posting this to keep track of progress going into august. I'm grossly overweight by accident and need to drop at least 10lbs.
My abs NEVER show on film:sadcam:

Don't feel like cutting. Probably gonna bulk with HEAVY compounds starting next month. I look like a god when I hit 170, but I can wrap this year up with some work for next year.

After a month of working out:

- Squatting 100 (started at 45)
- Deadlifting 145 (started at 115)
- Benching 70 (started at 45)
- Barbell Rowing 95 (started at 45)
- Overhead Pressing 45 (yeah... I've been plateauing this hard).

Loving this lifestyle. I'm going to be the greatest professional wrestler of all time.
