Yall help me out, cuz im not seeing the smugness from some of these (latter) posts

From what I under stand

Simple carbs tend to digest fast and raise insulin pretty fast, insulin breaks down carb and produces glycogen ( a sugar like substance/compound), which is stored in organs and muscles, when you cant store any more glycogen, its converted to fat.

With insulin levels being raised so high, so quickly, they tend to remain above normal levels after carbs have been digest and signal the body for more carbs in the form of hunger pangs?

So wasn't she (Desirous) somewhat right?

Well depends on what research you believe. Big picture it's not quite as simple as carbs make people fat. The reality is that protein and carbs spike insulin.

I think you have to look at it from a few different angles:

For someone that is generally in shape they tend to have the ability to intake and process carbs more effectively than most. A lot of people here can say well I do X and it works for me bu that might not apply to the general population.

The other side is someone that isn't generally active in a way that cause uses of glycogen stores. If it's not being burned then there is going to be an overspill into fat storage. Additionally high carb intake along with high fat intake seems to be a pretty big no-no.

Carbs are needed, but I eat complex carbs...and not an excess amount of them. I carb cycle, so I'm eating low carb and every 3 days, I have high carb days. It's working for me, so far.
That topic always causes fukkery.

I'm cycling with more simple carbs and seeing results. Carbs are just a delicious tool for gains.

It's not that serious. People post work out tips and ask for advice...how's that different? Healthy eating is just as important. I'm being helpful.

Wtf you even tagging people though? You'd rather they explain instead of you? Someone else do the work for you? Lame. Just ignore it or speak up.

Did deadlifts for the first time yesterday.

Is it normal to feel a lot of the exercise in your quads?

Nope. If you are feeling that heavy in the quads, means your form is fukkED up or you got mad muscular imbalances. Likely just your form not right yet.
