So, I finally understand Macro! I'm on it! Tracking my food on MyFitnessPal...does anyone use this app? It's so easy on there.

Oh, this article is pretty dope, too...on high protein foods.

If anyone needs some help with breaking down Macro and figuring out what your intake should be, I'm happy to explain.

Brehs please help a brother out, i have gotton flabby :mjcry:

I used to be cut and made some good gains but stopped going gym for a while, got with my chick and we eat out alot so i am now fat. Im going gym tomorrow again to get back into my routine. Do yall have any tips as to what i should do to start off? I read somewhere that when you start off in the gym again you should do compound exercises for about a month so like deadlifts squats bench dips pull ups etc. Is that true?

Aint no suprise ive lost this weight since I tossed my chick. Im telling you, she was set on making me a fat motherfukker. Watch these bytches brehs :ufdup:

Since that before pic, ive lost some good weight.I didnt weigh myself then but I think its about a stone/stone and a half I think...heres a pic I took today. Still not perfect yet but its a lot better than that before pic :francis:

I havent really put any muscle on as my gym membership was cancelled a few months back as ive moved back to London. Probably gonna start looking to add muscle and increase my calories as I should be okay right now. What yall think?

Depends on how you feel you look now and the long term goal. If you are happy with the amount of fat loss start looking into methods to add muscle in a smart manner. If you aren't happy keep trying to strip body fat. You really have to determine this yourself.

Anyone practice Ketosis?

I'm trying to ease into it...but keep going over my carbs and fats! Like, typically, my carbs are 70 g but I need to be less than 20 g then around 100 g on my high carb days...fats around 30 g and I'm usually 50-60 g

I lost around 3.5 lbs last week and feel a bit leaner around my midsection.

Got a calorie-tracker, to also tell me what my heart rate is at while I'm working out.

Have been doing 40 mins on the bike (just under 400 calories), 3-4 times a week, plus doing more targetted workouts now (leg day, arm day etc...after I do my cardio)...and now I'm starting to lift heavier and do less reps.

Also, as I mentioned, I've cut back a LOT on carbs and sugar...complex carbs only during high carb days. I boil 2 eggs every night and bring them with me...when I need a snack while I'm driving in between meetings, and just for added protein and to make sure I eat more frequently throughout the day, they're great to have on hand.

My amaaaaaazing friend has been coaching me through all of this...giving me great advice and tips. I'm so lucky to have someone spell out the dos and don'ts.
