The more pressing question for me is does the purchase span across PC and Xbox. I want to be able to play during work at my computer then pick up again at my Xbox later in the evening :jbhmm:

Purchase? Nah. You're likely going to need to byt twice, if you plan on copping.

But I wouldn't be shocked to see you be able to use your save across both.
All xbox games are “play anywhere” if you buy from the microsoft store.

You only need to pay for one copy and you can play it on whatever platform you want. Saves are seamless. You don’t even have to think about it, your save will be in the cloud and it will load automatically for you.

They explained that the design aesthetic was "nasapunk"

Meaning that they intentionally used NASA and neil armstrong as a basis for the suit designs....did you miss that? :snoop:
Oh I’m sorry for not following the game news as close as you forgive my ignorance :comeon:

And I don’t care if they mentioned that, shyt doesn’t mean I’m supposed to automatically like it:rudy:

There was a whole deep dive we all saw it live. There was no further information given to nikkas who follow it "closely" :snoop:

There is no such thing as a grounded take on space travel, because it's impossible for us. It's all fantasy. Either from a raw resources, time to travel, or space radiation/muscular degenerative breakdown. So, all you're doing is just putting a hard ceiling on how much fun you can make your space game by being "real". The only viable way we can get into deep space is by sending A.I. out there. There is no resource that we can make for sustainable space travel with more than 5 people on board.
Damn.

Sometimes the glass is half full fam. :pachaha:

Lowkey wild seeing y’all quote each other because I almost feel like you 2 and @42 Monks are all the same person:skip:

Y’all all play the same type of games and typically if 2 or all 3 of you like a game then it’s gonna be a hit for me :obama:

Yeah we have similar tastes I will agree with that, and none of us have much of a stance on the console wars, I can't speak for them but I have a PS5, XBSX and an above average gaming PC.

That particular comment though had me puzzled because the design aesthetic of the game had a whole 10 min segment and they even showed off different space suits, aliens and planets to help you understand what they was going for so complaining about that is very confusing to me. Especially after the outer worlds which went in the other direction in terms of being more colorful and cartoony.

I have a feeling since there’s no flying around in the atmosphere and no mention of land vehicles, the planets are probably set up like Fallout/Skyrim maps.
Which makes sense. Each planet/moon is a cell, and the immediate space surrounding the star system is a cell. That enables them to do all of the object tracking for persistence. What they're doing so far shyts on No Man's Sky for me - and I'm probably 500-600 hours in it. But being able to fly in atmosphere and transition to space would have shelved NMS for good.

That's pretty cool. In my head, I thought that applied to saves, but not purchases.
