There could be 2 or 3 good Jedi characters. There doesn't have to be just 1 Jedi and 1 sith with an apprentice.
I agree with you about the Zion stuff. I only really liked the Zion shyt once it got breached. Revolutions had some good set pieces tho. I don't remember them setting the ending up for the mmo though. I do remember folks online coming up with better fake leak endings then what we got.
Because rey had to be the only jedi. Can't have anyone showing her upSo Finn being downgraded was the only way that was gonna go, once they decided to have rey be a mary sue.
But yeah.. she just there. She hasn't had a heroes journey.
Even if Finn wasn't a Jedi he could have been a respectable character. Han Solo wasn't a Jedi and people still liked him. Nobody really likes Finn. Even so Finn is still more of a character than Rey. At least Finn is a reluctant hero that came around and was willing to die for the cause at the end of TLJ.
Rey has no struggle, hell nobody even trained her. She suddenly just came into power and just started doing stuff. Luke didn't even help her really he just projected himself and died for no reason other than to get out of her way as a character and have her be a messiah type figure because alive he would outshine her.

I KNOW there could have been more then 1 good jedi character. What I'm saying is they wanted Rey to be the ONLY one.. and not be overshadowed/shown up by any other character.
I think they're going to reveal that Rey was some kind of experiment by Palpatine. Kind of similar to how the comics implied that Anakin was born as a result of Palpatine using the force on Shmi to somehow cause Anakin's birth.
If nothing else it would explain how she's so powerful.

Has anyone ever said that it was possible that she was related or created by Palps by her fighting style in the force awakens? I noticed it from jump. So is where where JJ was going with the story the entire time? Of course, then Rian ruined the films with the Last Jedi.

There never was a plan after force awakens JJ literally hit Rian Johnson with a tag your it. These fools didn’t have a plan in the first place and are just making shyt up as they go along.
