I was down on TFA so I had low expectations for TLJ still what a bad movie. Dude went out if his way to piss off die hard fans.

Funny thing is Vader does the same shyt to his apprentice in the force unleashed video games knocking him out of a window into space and that dude needed his own Vader suit to survive after that...

But Leia got a vagina, apparently when you got one those you god mode status in the Kennedy SW universe...

I’m going to be honest and say I didn’t like anything JJ set up in 7 shyt was all stuff that was done in the past. Snoke = Emperor type character , the question of the identity of Rey’s parentage = the mystery of Luke’s parental background. It’s all the same shyt after thirty years of waiting for the next chapter of Star Wars. Instead of focusing on stuff like what caused the first order to rise after the empire fell? How did Kylo fall to the dark side? (This should be a trilogy in itself).

I always thought it was weird how in a universe as vast and deep as SW, the focus always had to be on the same group of people. I get fan service but Rogue One had the blueprint on how to have a new story with mostly new characters and still incorporate iconic characters from the past. Then the new trilogy comes along and it’s a reskinned version of the original trilogy. All the lore and other material at their disposal and this was the best they could do

That’s what I’m saying the Rebels tv show was similar in the Rogue One approach as well. New characters a new story while still adhering to the overall mythos of Star Wars with brushes with iconic characters (Darth Vader, Yoda, Obi Wan, Lando Calrassian, Asoka Tano, Darth Maul).

I tried to get through TLJ several times and just now finished it the other night. havent seen Rogue One yet but I liked Solo. it was decent to me. as far as the trilogy, not even interested in RoS just because the first two were such trash.

Rogue One is the best of the Disney SW films imo...

You should definitely give that a watch breh, its worth it just for Vader and my mans Donnie dagawd Yen put in work to...

I know, been trying to catch it on a service where I dont have to buy/rent. like I said, I enjoyed Solo better than TFA or TLJ. them shyts make no sense to me as far as the Skywalker storyline, not to mention they are corny af.
