Y'all really just hate and nitpick literally everything. And don't say that's not true cause y'all stay in the Film Room literally nitpicking the smallest and dumbest things. Do any of y'all ever just shut up and enjoy things?
This gotta stop being the excuse for some wack shyt in 2020:mjlol:

That scene in TLJ where Luke was finna kill Kylo, HIS NEPHEW OF ALL PEOPLE, was what did it for me. Luke showed on more than one occasion that he would do anything even if it meant giving his life for his family just for them to spit in our face by saying Luke Skywalker would kill his nephew in cold blood... IN HIS SLEEP!? The same Luke Skywalker who ran the 1v1 fade with Vader and got his arm cut off after everyone(including himself) told him and knew he wasn't ready for that fade, to save get this Kylo's parents Han and Leia... Just to turn around later and KILL THEIR SON, HIS OWN fukkING NEPHEW, IN HIS SLEEP?! THE SAME PEOPLE HE ALMOST DIED SAVING BRUH?! :why:

fukk Kathleen Kennedy, fukk Rian Johnson, fukk JJ Abrams, fukk anyone who had any type of creative control over this trilogy as a staff record label and as a mufukkin crew, and if you wanna be down with them then fukk you too.:pacspit:
Luke faced the ultimate evil in the galaxy, resisted that evil's attempts to turn him to the darkside via either killing his father or that same ultimate evil in anger...

And then toyed with the possibility of killing his nephew :laff:

Even tho I read the ending already. I still kinda want to be apart of the zeitgeist. I caught my self streaming the bootleg version last night but felt too disgusted with myself so I turned it off after 5 minutes. May catch this in a matinee during the break :patrice:

Yet, dude told him in that very conversation that killing him would make him more powerful. Have we learned nothing from Canon. Not to mention Luke was a living force Jedi. I guess Luke is immune to that too.

The Last Jedi is the only decent movie in this trilogy.

It was though, it tried new things instead of pandering to the nostalgia merchants like every other star wars media out there

J J is such a nostalgia merchant, he genuinely shows no drive, passion or creativity towards any of his projects anymore.
I just felt like Rian Johnson pussied out and should’ve had the movie end with Rey joining Kylo. He spent the whole movie being subversive but does the most predictable thing at the end.

the fact that it is bad in a different way doesn't mean it's the better movie.

This would've been pretty bold, but that strikes me as the kind of thing Disney would certainly quash in production.

All wouldbe been forgiven if he did that imo. I truly wanted to see Rey join the darkside with Ren. Have Luke survive and have to deal with the mess his inactivity caused
