It was so obvious from his introduction in Force Awakens to not build on this and make and him a complete side kick and buffoon is criminal. :hhh:
Honestly maybe he just me but the more I think about it :jbhmm: English actor John boyega Finn character came off like a character American comedian actor kevin hart would play if he was in sc-fi movie in space I said this because it remind me of the movie hollywood shuffle

But even with Vader pissing Luke off, LUKE STILL GAINED CONTROL OF HIMSELF AND DIDN'T GIVE INTO THE DARK SIDE BY KILLING VADER, yet all of a sudden he gonna kill his nephew. :stopitslime:

Luke had to come back as a full fledged Jedi master having been trained by a top 5 most powerful jedi of all time(Yoda) for years to have what it takes to beat Vader and stand up to the emperor, yet Rey can fight and beat mufukkas who have trained for YEARS with ZERO TRAINING brehs, the force apparently is female. :hhh:

Side note: one plot hole I don't understand is why Yoda didn't teach Luke to block force lightning if he knew he was gonna have to face the emperor one day? We see in the prequels Yoda can easily block force lightning, why didn't he teach Luke that? Luke(and Anakin) were both naturally more powerful with the force than Palpatine(Palpatine had more experience) yet Yoda wouldn't teach Luke the one thing that would make his chances of beating the emperor almost 100%. :what:
I think that was something only Mace knew breh...

Yoda never had to deal with the emperor or force lightning...

I think you kind of missed the point of the ending:dwillhuh:

The Skywalker is Rey, she took on the Skywalker name at the end of the movie.

The point was that it doesn't matter if she's biologically a Palpatine, she's choosing to carry on the Skywalker legacy. The message is that your family doesn't determine who you are, you have a choice.

It's weak. She barely knew the Skywalkers. It would of been a better fitting end had it been about Ben's redemption.

No.

Yoda and Obi-Wan went into hiding to become better Jedi and train Luke/Leia one day. Them going into hiding DIRECTLY led to the end of the Empire and rise of the new Jedi.

Luke went into hiding to do the exact opposite.

If Rian said that Yoda did the same thing as Luke, then that explains TLJ.

No... Yoda essentially did the exact same thing

No. Yoda went into exile because he understood the Jedi had failed because of their own arrogance. He was a completely different person on Dagobah. Notice how he constantly stresses to Luke that the Force >>>> lightsabers and we never see him use a lightsaber again. He walked into battle with Sidious full of arrogance and anger and failed because he had forgotten what being a Jedi was supposed to mean. So he was in exile, meditating on his mistakes.

You mean when the Jedi were being exterminated:gucci:

And they DID have a plan.... Obi wan was watching over Luke the entire time.:camby:

In Empire Strikes Back, Yoda DID NOT EVEN WANT TO TRAIN Luke and made every excuse from being too old to being too much like his father. Kenobi had to convince him to train him. They did not have a PLAN. Yoda essentially DID exactly what Luke did. Bare in mind, the new Jedi council that Luke created was exterminated TOO. Or you want to dismiss that.

No, he did not want to train Luke initially. He had to be convinced by Kenobi to train him.
