I enjoyed it
But I also dgaf about the star wars lore and all that shyt.
So maybe casuals like me enjoying it for what it is
As a random space movie it was ok
As a star wars movie with lore and background it was stupid and made no sense

Then breh got launched backwards via force push, and Rey ghosted him at least 2-3 times.

Why not just remake the prequels? Hollywood remakes everything else after 20 years or so.
Do the 3 different director thing again, but t least this time we everyone should know what the story will be.

My theory is Leia knew that her death my have been the one thing to turn Kylo back to the light. So she just gave her self to the Force. And that's when he turned, he felt her die and stopped attacking Rey, got stabbed, healed, talks to Han, turn complete.

You don't remake Star Wars just add on to it by other means, i.e. The Mandalorian, Obi-wan series and any future stuff. Let the Skywalker saga go. Plenty of things to work with especially if they went into the Old Republic stuff.

That scene in TLJ where Luke was finna kill Kylo, HIS NEPHEW OF ALL PEOPLE, was what did it for me. Luke showed on more than one occasion that he would do anything even if it meant giving his life for his family just for them to spit in our face by saying Luke Skywalker would kill his nephew in cold blood... IN HIS SLEEP!? The same Luke Skywalker who ran the 1v1 fade with Vader and got his arm cut off after everyone(including himself) told him and knew he wasn't ready for that fade, to save get this Kylo's parents Han and Leia... Just to turn around later and KILL THEIR SON, HIS OWN fukkING NEPHEW, IN HIS SLEEP?! THE SAME PEOPLE HE ALMOST DIED SAVING BRUH?!
fukk Kathleen Kennedy, fukk Rian Johnson, fukk JJ Abrams, fukk anyone who had any type of creative control over this trilogy as a staff record label and as a mufukkin crew, and if you wanna be down with them then fukk you too.
But even with Vader pissing Luke off, LUKE STILL GAINED CONTROL OF HIMSELF AND DIDN'T GIVE INTO THE DARK SIDE BY KILLING VADER, yet all of a sudden he gonna kill his nephew.
Luke had to come back as a full fledged Jedi master having been trained by a top 5 most powerful jedi of all time(Yoda) for years to have what it takes to beat Vader and stand up to the emperor, yet Rey can fight and beat mufukkas who have trained for YEARS with ZERO TRAINING brehs, the force apparently is female.
From the very beginning people were asking if these Disney people had ever even watched Star Wars. You summed it all up perfectly.

Rey starts the SAME GAME with all skills and abilities unlocked and god mode...
