Absolutely loved the flick. Best one since Jedi hands down. The practical effects and characters really made this one feel like the OG trilogy. Great work by Abrams. I hope he comes back after 8 but I think Rian Johnson is signed on for 9 already.

My daughter copped me this piff for Christmas

If I didn't watch his Breaking Bad epsidoes, I wouldn't be excited about Rian Johnson at all. I kinda liked Brick, but thought Looper was an overrated sack of shyt.

So, the force can lift people off the ground, make weak minded people think a certain way, choke people out, but it can't trandscend one of the most powerful ( alledgedly :heh:) jedi Trained individuals in Darth Vader shoot lightning boltz from his hands?

Listen breh, there are so many things in this series that don't make sense we could probably go back and forth. Again the way they hype of the force and everything about it, should any of these high trained people be limited?

Don't forget they got super speed too

Man I don't know what was going through my head when I chose to see this. I had to sit all the way up in the front. I was late as well, and it was 3d and Imax

It comes from Empire when Luke jumps out of the carbonite chamber, he does it at superspeed as well.

i legitimately watched Empire 4 days ago and don't even remember that. i imagine it didn't look as ridiculous, but i believe you.

They don't show it twice so it's not in our faces, in Phantom we see them disappear...followed by a shot of two blurs in the distance. Just like most things Phantom Menace, clever editing could've made it look much better.

So the force in starwars is this magical spuritual thing. It should trandscend anything and I mean anything. The way they talk about it,the suit should be no problems. Again think about the way they talk about the force. Should anything really get in the way of that? I mean I know they had to have some sentimental moment; but again, the way the force is talked about nothing should affect it.

Luke, all but trained a month to be a Jedi; he's out there working Vader in fights. Vader has been in Jedi training since he was 10
Luke had to retrain for a year after Empire and Vader was still working him over in ROTJ. Also Vader was becoming Anakin again while Luke was tapping into the darkside (my theory) when he finally started backing Vader up.

Finn reminds me of Sokka from the Last airbender

Aang is the combat specialist and the prodigy like Rey.

Finn is also proficient in combat and tactics he just didn't know it yet. That's what Han has been trying to bring out of him when they infiltrated the base. The ability to plan on the spot.

I don't see a problem, he's comic relief, so what, he's good at it.
