Look at how big the Star Wars universe is suppose to be . You really find it hard to believe that every single person in the universe wouldn't know what happened ?? Smh you guys are acting like this isn't a difficult thing for earth now it's completely different planets and shyt but everyone should know everything ? that universe is made up of more then just humans who have longer lives. Non of them who lived through both can't say "Yeah I knew a dude from Aludran shame that empire blew up his planet. I remember when we had a council of planets but that didn't work out glad the rebels won et".
And the people who question the moon landing are considered idiots so stop it. You are just trying to justify a mistake Lucus made when made the prequals. I just find it funny that JJ ran with it.

Easier to explain Rey and maybe Finn not knowing much about the jedi besides maybe legend cause they've grown up without any jedi around and the em[ire might have wrote the Jedi out of history. But Jedi were plentiful during the time a lot of the empire's people and Han were growing up.

Let's think about who the and what the result of being the Jedi is in these movies before we go boom/bust based on Boyega being a Jedi or not. Anakin was a Jedi..............................Ego maniac. Luke was a Jedi....................................Lonely, sister kissing with daddy issues. Obi Wan..............Never that great a fighter, ended up a hermet. Yoda.................was wrong as hell and pretty damn ignorant and learned his lesson too damn late. Duku, dead. Palpatine, dead egomaniac. Even Ahsoka quit because she was too good for all that. In the lore of Star Wars, if you want to take the black excellence angle, perhaps you want Finn to be closer to...............................Han Solo. Crush buildings, get the girl, save the day multiple times, the real moral compass of the everyman in the Galaxy. I hope they make him a force sensitive, but I can live with him living by "worst comes to worst, my peoples come first" mentality like Solo. Also have to remember this is a three movie arc(perhaps more depending on the the unannounced movies) that Ridley and Boyega are signed onto. Lots of development to go. The apparent hero of this episode could end up the baddie in the end.

You sound dumb because one you didn't see the movie so that line is taken out of context . You don't really know what is going on , and your missing my point it's a huge conflict , it's not hard to believe that everyone especially 20 year old kids may not know all the details of a rebel uprising . You acting like the movie shows every single person
