That Osira chick dong 14 different affects every time she speaks is distracting as hell.

They did a great job expounding on the Emerald Chain. A couple episodes ago they just seemed like a basic Big Bad but they're a bit more complex than that.

The episodes since Georgiou's departure have been very good; so far it looks like Discovery may end the season on a high. I was baffled by Michael's decision making sending away Stamets though.

So since Picard is an android and technically can't die unless he decides to self destruct

is it possible that he could show up 900 yrs into the future in Discovery?

I can’t remember the details as by that point in Picard I had a permanent face palm on the go at how shyt and ridiculous it was but fairly sure he can die easy enough in his android body.

They’ve been a bit evasive about the Federation President. Not referred to by name or gender all this series. There is one other character who is likely still around at this time.

But I don’t think I can see either appearing.

i think the person that did the transfer promised him he would live his normal life span , like 20 - 30 more years

found it

'Picard' Explained: Jean-Luc Picard Rejoins the Human Family in 'Et in Arcadia Ego Part 2'.

Picard is told that he is not immortal and that this new body is expected to last as long as the previous one if the neurological disorder had not come along. Meet the new Picard, same as the old Picard.

The show finally got interesting. If I heard right, the Emerald Chain is quite literally the symbol of capitalism. Which would make the Federation.... socialism or communism? Plus, we'll see at least some of those skeletons Starfleet has been hiding. Since they've been hinting at it all season.

Thought it was absolute dog shyt. The current show runners have no idea how to make Trek.

Think I’m out. Burnham is the worst character in all of Trek. Poorly written to be the solution to and reason for nearly every event and at times her acting is atrocious. And they make her captain...

Why were both engineering and the turbo lift network the size of a Borg Cube?

The best bit of the episode was the look of utter disgust and dismissal that Stamets gave Burnham. Yeah mate I know how you feel. Nah done. Have very little optimism for Strange New Worlds as well.

Lower Decks is the only thing that’s felt like Trek.

Burnham should've been made captain end of Season 1. Saru was always a substitute. She's got the most commanding presence out of everyone besides Georgiou. And when I think of Trek bad acting I think of Kirk, Troi, or Harry Kim. Martin-Green is leagues ahead of them, although I wish they didn't have her cry so much. As a whole I wish the show had more camp, but it's hard to do camp with a 9 figure budget.

I am torn on the finale - I don't hate it, but i don't love it either.
it was mid

***spoils a specific plot point, do not read if you haven't watched***
wish the leader of the chain would have survived, Disco needs a good overarching lead villain like DS9 and the previous episode showed the character's range,
Plus she went out like a secondary character

the season 2 finale was bonkers
this was more subdued
glad to see the federation coming together again though

I just wanna see the 32nd century Enterprise
maybe season 4

will still tune in with all its faults, any trek is better than no trek
