I always tell folks about the effect Martin Luther Kings death had,and how seperate but equal wasn't a failure but a incomplete.

I do believe it was neccessary at the time to be able to use white resources for our survival and our come up. But being that there was already a forced seperation in place,the idea would have been that we would have taken those educations back to our own communities,bought our job experience and money earned back to our own communities and started our own black businesses.

We have to understand they couldn't have known the mentality of our people would transform the way it did. The mentality of that time at large wasn't to get money and education from the white man,and go live happily ever after in whiteyville and away from nikkas,ignoring the black struggle. Because even if you had wealth back then,it would be hard for you to ignore the blaytant racism in your face. I could only watch so much of this video, but I must say that cucked out white ally literally gave me pause the entire video by just how much of a spineless, pathetic fakkit he is. Raising awarness to who though?Black people already knew or should have known the foulness to be true. The more powerful thing about the technology is that it gives us the power to mobilize as we have seen with the protest. So the proof is right there how quickly black people can now mobilize and come together.

Problem is we seem to only be willing to mobilize as emotionalist,requesting negotiations with white people in power to make change on our behalf out of the kindness of their hart,now that we have video proof because our words over the course of decades weren't believeable enough apparently

How long have we had this technology now? How have we mobilized in other constructive ways that weren't based on emotional reactions? I agree technology has given us platforms to talk to each other more,and maybe change mentailities. But Is there any more action or mobilizing going on then what was going on in the civil rights movement when they didn't have a tenth of the resources,platforms ability to mobilize that we do? Where is the proggress outside of attempting to be more comfortable in a white society.

The civil rights movement lasted from 1954-1968. It built up moment, these things take time. Also since Trayvons death black people have been very active making changes. To say otherwise is untrue breh.
