Blacks make up 12% of this country. We own even less. Neither party has any incentive to "fight" over blacks. Republicans in particular have understood this since the 70s, its why some republican politician can say some racist shyt every couple of months and GOP leaders dont even bat an eye.

there is an incentive because blacks are concentrated in certain areas, so for those areas its relevant and presumably in those areas black people would be voting for other black people

secondly, hispanics make up 15% of the country and the parties are fighting over hispanics, so whats the difference between 12% and 15%?

Unless you expect a huge chunk of Black Americans to abandon a party that doesnt really care for them for a party full of bigots, that doesnt really care for them.....give up your hopes.

i dont have any "hopes", i was just making a statement about what would happen if black people split their votes, but i do predict there will be a lot more "stacey dash's" after obama leaves office

my hope is that every individual vote however the fuk they want to vote and not be oppressed under an anti intellectual environment created by insults to their character for exercising their freedom

i personally recommend voting for obama because he's black, but thats just me, i dont have beef over voting because voting is a personal decision that you have to respect

Especially an "celebrity" expressing an opinion, and especially a celebrity expressing an opinion regarding a divisive issue.
