Fam, in Miami, the biggest game arguably of the YEAR is on Christmas. You could probably walk up and get tickets that day for Thunder /Heat they're so available. I highly doubt that the AA Arena wasn't sold out because a bunch of Spurs fans got their money back.

That doesn't mean that they arent expensive, what if both teams sat there superstars on Christmas just because? :merchant:

so a team doctor saying Duncan needs rest makes it acceptable then? :heh:
yall are jackasses.

Why wouldn't it be it'll be within reasoning obviously

Who cares if they are on the bench, at the hotel or on a plane? They aren't taking part in what the live fans are seeing. You want to watch Duncan sit around and  for Splitter in his fresh new suit :whoo:

It wouldn't bother me one bit but I can understand fans' frustration. Especially a casual fan that only recognizes stars but coughed up major money to support the league. They probably would be mad that they didn't play but at least if they showed up they could snap a picture or something. He could have taken this 4 games in 5 days and just rested one person each game.

and it's written on the ticket that theyre guaranteed to see duncan manu and tp :comeon:
NBA shouldnt have made the schedule like they did. cant be running old nikkas into the ground

Man, I feel really bad for guys getting paid millions of dollars to play basketball four times in five nights, especially against heavyweights like Toronto, Washington and Orlando. :snooze:

i cant believe yall nikkas and here saying pop can do what he want:childplease:WE THE PEOPLE AS THE FANS SHOULD LOVE THIS MOVE BY STERN.....LETS SAY ON XMAS BRON,KD,KOBE SIT OUT AND SPEND TIME WITH THEY FAMILY YALL nikkaS WOULD BE AND HERE CRYING AND shyt.STERN DID WHAT HE DID FOR THE FANS LIKE YOU AND ME.

:lawd:

There are no guarantees on the tickets you purchase. If CC Sabathia "doesn't feel right" after his warm up and Girardi decides right before game time to take precaution and sit him out... TOUGH shyt.

Baseball tickets are A LOT cheaper than basketball tickets. In Denver, decent seats for a Lakers or Heat game (by decent I mean at the top of the lower bowl) the prices were like $180 apiece. Whereas a decent seat at a baseball game would be $25. BIG difference.

I don't think you understand what pop was doing. He was mad at the fact that have had 11 away games and have only played only 16 games. The heat on the other hand were off since last Saturday. The league was serving up a tired spurs team to be styled on by the heat on national tv.

So we don't see it all the time where teams with long rests are rusty? That never happens, does it? :wtb:

And San Antonio isn't the only team doing a four games in five nights stretch. EVERY team in the league has that at some point. They all play the same amount of games and travel to the same places. This is their job. They signed up to do it and I don't see them turning down contracts because of one 4/5 stretch.

There are plenty of pricey tickets in the new Yankee stadium. Trust me.

My Pops Forever RIP
But in this instance he would be sending Jeter, Arod, Cano and CC home...and they wouldn't be around before or after the game to do press.

Girardi was resting guys in the first WEEK of the season. Nobody complained.

@Loose Jeter could be on the very ticket you have for the Yankee game. You could very well show up at Yankee Stadium and see Eduardo Nunez at SS in a game in April. In playoff games, teams sometimes send a starting pitcher back home a day ahead of time in order to prepare for the next game.

 @ everyone thinking this was about the Spurs players being sent home, as if Tim Duncan sitting lifelessly on the bench was really gonna make Stern any happier.

cause they still wouldnt play in the game. whether a DR says it or not doesn't matter. if them nikkas tired they tired and Pop said they sit.he been coaching them for a decade plus he knows his players
He actually did the nba a favor. how many times do they schedule games on natl tv where one team is coming off a long road trip and get blown out. shyt happens all the time. the nba fukked themselves on this not the spurs

Fukk all yall fake fukks in here. Get off Pop d!ck. Worry bout your own team. Why yall in here crying rivers bout what the Spurs do. Go post in your own team thread. Trust me Spurs fans aint giving a single fukk bout how bad Scott Brooks rotations are, or how flabby Wade looking, or when Nash coming back.

This how Pop handle his biz. He got rings. No OKC/Miami/Boston/New York/whateverthefukkyourteamis fan better say sh!t bout a thing Pop does til yall win 4 got dam rings in 10 years. And if u happen to be a Lakers fan, FUKK U, just off principle.
