OKC getting roberson back, dropping melo (he's getting bought out or extended, dude is gone) and giving those minutes to grant, and adding noel is huge for their defense and efficiency

nola plays fast as shyt without boogie. not like they were some sleeper in the playoffs last year either - they just pulled GS while houston was playing a team with only one legitimate scorer and no point guard.
Good point about OKC, but I don't see them jumping to another tier next season. As for the Pelicans, I think losing both Rondo and Cousins is huge. They need to make a move at point guard. Getting Schroeder or taking a gamble on IT seems logical. And they still need scoring on the wings.

:yeshrug: got Payton in free agency. I think he can be rondo light. Obviously not close to the basketball smarts but has some of the same traits as rondo

All this capspace next summer

But than you have shyt like this

It's gunna be a lot of pissed off players next summer

Nah, since there was so few teams with cap room that meant players had no leverage and had to take what they could get. Next summer players will have a lot more leverage and will be able to demand longer contracts with more money since they can play the teams off of one another.
