Kings have come out and said they will use their cap to absorb deals if a pick is included, so they are pretty much out of the lavine talk.

I figured no deal would be offered from the kings because to get to a number the bulls wouldn't Match the kings would have to shed more salary. Bulls will match 17, 18 mill, they won't match 23-26 mill which is the number of a full max to lavine. When I didn't see the kings making any moves to shed salary , I concluded they wouldn't offer anything. Why offer their remaining 17 mill when they know the bulls would match that?

18 mill per for lavine is fair imo.
