OKC getting roberson back, dropping melo (he's getting bought out or extended, dude is gone) and giving those minutes to grant, and adding noel is huge for their defense and efficiency

nola plays fast as shyt without boogie. not like they were some sleeper in the playoffs last year either - they just pulled GS while houston was playing a team with only one legitimate scorer and no point guard.
I wonder what’s taking so long with the Melo situation.

Also, that's some nice shot blocking to have coming off the bench.

And PG having 6pts in a closeout game.. Westbrook has one of the worst IQs in basketball
Westbrook legit willed his team back dolo on some comic book hero type shyt. PG can play, but he's never been clutch like that. Ever.

Melo though? he was terrible on defense to the point where random nobodies were targeting him for easy buckets for the whole series. he was terrible on offense to the point where okc legit HAD to freeze him out otherwise he'd derail the entire team. he was free rebounds, couldn't run on fastbreaks, brought no energy.

Melo was atrocious. OKC's MCW. You can't win with dude anymore in any capacity. Net negative across the board. Washed. Etc. Guys have faults, Melo was a legit team handicap. Not saying Utah would've lost had he not been there - Utah was an AWFUL matchup for OKC (and anyone other than GS/Houston for that matter) - but Melo played so bad that Westbrook had to put up an all-time game to prevent a sweep.

Melo’s problem is that he doesn’t want to transit to a role player.. that shyt can be hard for a player who was the man all his career.. Melo on a legit contender as a role player will avg 15ppg easy however Melo’s effectiveness comes with playing with a legit smart PG.. like a Billups, Kidd.. So him going to the lakers he will play with Ball and Rondo pass first PGs who will get him in his spots..

Westbrook ain’t doing that shyt
