Marcus played himself by putting what he wanted out there early no way in hell were they gonna give 12-15 and the fact that he got no offer from anybody else proved them right
He should take the qualifying offer get that jumper right and get his money next season

Better chance of standing out and getting paid when Boston can't match and after coming off a season where you stupidly break your hand throwing a tantrum

Having cap space and getting your worth is two totally different things. Yall missing the point. The restricted free agents from this summer are fukked. They want 2016 money and are gonna have to settle for way less

OKC getting roberson back, dropping melo (he's getting bought out or extended, dude is gone) and giving those minutes to grant, and adding noel is huge for their defense and efficiency
nola plays fast as shyt without boogie. not like they were some sleeper in the playoffs last year either - they just pulled GS while houston was playing a team with only one legitimate scorer and no point guard.

They can all accept the qo and be unrestricted next summer which seems to be the point you're missing or They can sign a 1+1 with a player opt out
They don't HAVE to sign a long term contract this summer. Their agents should be telling them there's way more dough out there summer '19 and '20 these cats 23-24 years old not 34
