Am I the only person here who doesn’t believe in “guilty pleasures”? If you like it you like it. I don’t feel guilty about a damn thing I like lol
Same. I threw in a few low budget ones like Strictly Business, Melvin Goes to Dinner and big trouble in little China for nostalgia purposes. They're not rave review movies. Maybe some little think pieces that remind you of some place or time in your life really.

Pretty much all of them. Rich get richer by you quadruple dipping.
them early era blu-rays were just shytty DVD era masters upscaled. I'll gladly dip on my favs restored from the original camera negative and feel like i'm watching them for the first time again :ahh:

but i'll work on this list thats a different discussion :troll:

I’d argue big trouble is now a huge movie. But most of carpenters movies are now.

Reviews are all about context and a sign of the times and generational tastes. The shining was dumped on when it came out too but no one would dare call it a guilty pleasure or anything but a critical darling.

The generation that grew up watching it on cable all the time became taste makers. And they decided that the shining is dope so now the world agrees. That’s how this whole thing works. Yet another reason I say reviews are worthless :francis:
