What weak albums.?

At worst 3 and all 3 have some gems.

I named his straight up garbage albums in my first post, breh. Do you read threads or do you just skim through em?

And yea...most weak rap albums have at least a few songs that are gems. Doesn't make the album good tho.

It goes to show you how many sheep we have in the Hip Hop community. Jay told you his debut is a classic, then...BOOM...Reasonable Doubt is a classic.

Jay told you that It Was Written was meh, then...BOOM...It Was Written was meh.

Jay told you that Nas makes 1 hot album every ten years, then...BOOM...Nas only makes 1 hot album every ten years.

Let's just keep it a buck ya'll: Jay has a litany of wack.mediocre albums. Yea, he's a dope MC but when you really think about about it he has put out an awful lot of wack albums for a MC that is universally hailed as one of the best ever. Nas' disc resume is far better in quality. Jay made ya'll think otherwise

Never said Jay doesn't have classics. Just pointing out that he has a bunch of weak albums.

And Vol. 1 definitely ain't a classic. And I don't fukk with none of that snap or mumble rap bullshyt, b.

I'll give you that many people say vol 1 ain't a classic; but I liked it

Hov is one of my favorite MC's, but he definitely has albums that haven't aged well.

Thing is, he's always had classic tracks on average albums. And he was dropping an album a year at one point, so he wasn't going to be able to drop perfection every time. Save for like Kingdom Come and MCHG, dude has classic records on every album. But there are definitely some joints that I hear today, and realize that I can't really get with them anymore. LOL!! But at the time they dropped, they were my shyt.

OP won. Facts is facts, bro :umad:

:lolbron:
Vol 1, BP 3, Black Album, Kingdom Come and MCHG can be debated....a lot of people have issues with them.......BUT

Bluprint 1, Reasonable Doubt, Vol2, Vol 3 and American Gangster are almost unanimously considered as really good albums.

Thats already half his catalog as certified piff. even if the other half is 70% trash. Thats still very impressive. Aside from LL no one comes close. Its one of the longest sales runs in rap history.:francis:

Again, I don't care about sales. I'm just talking about quality. Even if I give you that only 50% of his albums are mostly trash then that still is SUPER inconsistent. Half his shyt is deleteable.
