Breh, The Booth needs to retire aged terribly. Ya'll apply that to any song you don't like. Songs that aged terribly have absolutely no value outside of the period they got released. That isn't true of "Dirt Off Your Shoulders". "Candy Shop" is a song that is an example of aging terribly. #1 song in 2005, but beyond 2005 really had no lasting appeal. Same goes for something like "AYO Technology".

yeah, but nobody streaming his whole albums. its his singles as a collab artist. Either with Rihanna, Bey, Linkin Park, and Kanye...

Just like most his grammys are collabs with arguably the bigger artist was on the record

aint no Blueprint, Volume 3, Kingdom Come, Black Album to be found dawg

to me they are all of the same ilk

candyshop = dirt shoulder = ayo tech

pandered records with 2 fire timbaland beats (ayo and dirt)

Those songs are nowhere near the same. "Dirt Off Your Shoulders" wasn't pandering. That song definitely wasn't catering to a specific audience like the other two were.

what specific audience are you refferring to?

for me it was jay adopting a dance into a hook which has nothing to do with the song

after revivisting the record right now its not as bad as i remember though

"AYO Technology" and "Candyshop" both pander to females.

That dirt off your shoulders isn't really a dance. It's basically a gesture that wasn't necessarily adopted into the hook, it just naturally goes with the song considering what he's saying in the verses.

This is everyone though.

Streaming is single land, people on average ARE NOT concerned with albums.
