the main thing you need to explain is why you say in one post you have a problem with the dolls and then in another post you claim that you never said anything good or bad about the dolls

If you want to catch me contradicting myself then do it by quoting me directly. You seem to deliberately twist words and misrepresent what I've said. I havent said the things that youre trying to attribute to me in your post here. I said that the dolls were racist and a blatant example of how the movie exploits slavery. At the same time it's not up to me to say whether it's right or wrong. Its not against the law to sell the dolls so it's a moral issue that's up to the individual.
I'll just stop here I haven't insulted you once, yet with every post you feel the need to insult me. If you had a valid point it's been lost in your ignorance. Good day sir
:shaq2: Weren't you the same guy accusing me of being too sensitive? Bruh, your ignorat mentality is an insult. The position that you're taking here insults me. Your debating tactics are bytchmade in my opinion as well. I'm far from sensitive and I don't have any sympathy for men who are. It is what it is, peace.

Ok but just because theres scarcity in black movies that doesnt give them the right to make any ol bullshyt ass movie tho

Django isn't a bullshyt movie. I'd say any madea movie is far more bullshyt than django.

I watched some madea movie with my wife. It was so many stereotypes and negative views of black people it was discusting. Hoodrat baby mammas, drug Dealing baby dadies, angry black women, ignorant black fast food workers, a family in disarray, not a father in sight. and instead of doing something to fix it the mother just says "ima pray on it":what:

This type of shyt puts black people back more than django ever could.

Lets say your a Hollywood producer you see the movie django with all the strong black people and dumb white people in it. All you see is black people complaining about it not being authentic enough, or it being exploitative, or the director/actors being racist. Would you write a movie for black actors, or would you play it safe and continue writing movies that ignore black people all together?

I haven't said that Django is the only movie to exploit something, that the music industry is color blind, or that it's right or wrong to sell slave dolls.

you clearly said before that it was wrong to sell the dolls and now you clearly said you had never said its right or wrong, so its a clear contradiction, nobody has ever even come close to suggesting it was illegal to sell the dolls, everybody understand that it's legal, that has never been the issue, the issue has always been morality

and you also clearly said that exploitation in the music industry has nothing to do with race, but now you clearly are backtracking and denying that you suggested the music industry is color blind

you are all over the place, its obvious that emotion has gotten the better of you and you are just throwing out arguments that you think can stick at the moment

the movie was extremely offensive in parts...i was like::wtf:at times and couldnt believe this shyt got made...if you added a laugh track to schindler's list you would understand how i felt about certain scenes...the word ******/nigguh was overdone but that is just bad writing nothing more,..all of the performances was solid,.,dicaprio stood out...the music was okay for a western blaxploitation mashup...the story is straight bullshyt.,.i think tarantino shouldve let django kill everybody as soon as he heard hildy was in the box...i didnt struggle to make it thru the film so i guess it is ok--:yeshrug:...

Yes, did you? Which black person was weak? And which white person was smart?

Ironically the mandingo nikkas, Stephen, "Big daddy" slave girl 1 2 and 3, Candie's black bedwench, the whole black cast besides Jamie and QT managed to emasculate him with that fairy ass prince ass costume for "comic relief"

any "dumb" white character was canceled out by Dr.King who was the smartest character in the movie

it dont matter who smart/dumb, strong/weak cuz at the end of the movie white people were still in power

which was the moral of the story

Dr king seemed smart but it was django who made the mission a success. Dr king let his emotions get himself killed.

Notice all the black people he framed as "weak" are people that we would give no respect to anyway. House nikkas, c00ns, and privledged mistresses aren't exactly cornerstones of the black community. And even they were not as stupid or weak as their white counterparts.

You are in denial if you can't admit that the movie presented white people in a negative light and black people as positive

Emasculated?:pachaha: you are grasping for straws now, that outfit was not feminine for that time frame, and don't you think a freed slave would reach for the fanciest outfit he could if given the choice?

As for the moral of the story. I took it as love and determination can conquer all as well as slavers were dumb, inhumane people who took advantage of circumstance.

i dont know how you got "white people are still in power" if that's the case django would have not succeeded or he woulda been recaptured. As it stands the black man won and the white people are dead.

Like I said, quote me then man. Don't just accuse me of contradicting myself, quote me saying the things that you are accusing me of saying. I never said that it was wrong to sell the dolls, I said that it was racist and an example of how the movie is exploiting slavery. Right or wrong is not for me to judge though. I'm not God, I'll let God do the judging. Yes, the selling of the slave dolls is a moral issue but whites have always proven themselves to be immoral when it comes to race. This is why I scoff at blacks who are sucking QT off like he is to celebrated or championed for making this movie. I don't have "beef" with QT or his movie, I have beef with socalled blacks like you who feel the need to swoop in and defend your masters from the truth. None of this surprises me. I called this with my eyes closed. I knew that this was a movie that exploited slavery before I saw it. The posts I have in the Django thread in the Arcadium forum serve as proof. Any movie about slavery that entertains white people is a "c00n" or sellout flick, point blank period. A movie that illustrated a trie no holds barred look at slvery would not entertain whites. Whites aren't even capable of having a true honey discussion concerning race relations in the present day, let alone own up to what they truly did to out people in the past. Django is yet another diversion from reality regarding race in this country. QT exploited slavery for a buck. You can cloud the issue by bringing up other shyt all you want, but you can't argue against what I just said.

As far as what I said about the music industry, once again you're twisting my words. I didn't say that the music industry is color blind. I said that exploitation within that industry isn't just about race. Everybody gets exploited in the music industry, not just blacks. Blacks even exploit other blacks regularly. The main point was that exploitation within te music industry is a different conversation than this we are having about Django.
