I assume you're talking about the protest that was out there last year in May. Much more folks showed up for that than for this 15 head count Django "protest" the media called it.

So again I say. Protesting things like this, takes time, energy, and attention from real racism, and the real effects that slavery had on our community. Before the protests only QT fans and movie buffs would have probably bought the dolls, now the added attention will have racist white folks rushing to go buy them. These dolls don't effect us in any way, they should be ignored.

I don't think it's to be seen as a slave doll but rather a freed man that when on to kill white men in revenge to free his wife at all costs. basically supposed to be seen as a hero.

There are MANY protest out there that focus on the things you're asking that the media can give two fukks about. Don't blame those protestors....blame the people who selectively gives them the spotlight.

the first link they protest police brutality AT the police station.
the second one they are not protesting in front of the police only on the street, where nobody is to do anything. they had it backward.

The media aren't the only ones giving this story attention. If people didn't go out and protest stupid things like this, the media would have no stupid protests to concentrate on. Things like this just gives them more ammo to right off our real problems and protests as just complaining or reverse racism. It's kinda like the boy who cried wolf, if we run out and get outraged and protest every-time someone says the word nikka, it takes away the power and seriousness from the fight against real institutionalized racism.
first of all, "kike" wasn't a german slur for jews
but beyond that, I don't think these appeals to consistency matter. if QT does xyz in one movie, that has nothing to do with his other movies

What do you consider attention? Saying "No...I'm against those dolls" over the internet isn't drawing a person away from other real issues.
this is a country with over 30 million black folks in it....and you really believe that there shouldn't be 15 people out of that number to congregate and protest something.
Dog....the media is the one generating a story around this. All I'm doing like MOST people is saying "no......fukk those dolls." There isn't some city to city Trayvon Martin protest against these doll.
