Even though the multiverse angle was part of the con, did anyone else pick up when Skrull Fury took Peter to meet Mysterio, that Fury said, "Your Earth" to Peter?

I still need to see it again but I'm pretty sure I heard Fury say that, and it stood out to me. The audience doesn't yet know that Fury is a dupe, and even w/ the Multiverse con, Fury & Peter are from the same Earth.

Did Talos forget for a sec he was undercover?

Yea his cover wasn't perfect based on that line and when he said "don't evoke her name" when Peter asked to call Captain Marvel.

That's by design :ehh:. Writers planted the seed

Don't know where I would rank it as worst Marvel sequels, but it's possibly top 3. Unbelievable. This niguh was so focused on getting that black lovin and doubting himself. Niguh, you should be the most focused superhero ever after the your mentor sacrificed himself. Leaving your suit at home? So selfish niguh. You never know what might pop which should be obvious after all he went through. Now, they reveal his identity? High school is over for him. At least with Starks he could go with life. I don't follow comics so maybe that's how it was in the books. If so, that's stupid to me.

And this movie had so many jokes that fell flat. Sam Jackson called this niguh a itch and I didn't even laugh. Nobody did. As far as Mysterio. Again, I don't follow comics but this niguh came off like a off brand Loki. I like Jake as an actor but this niguh didn't convince me at all. And that whole scene with Spidey and the glasses was so predictable and lame. Who didn't that coming? This movie really blew it. Never watching this trash again unless I'm forced to like at work. Other then that, this was below average. Spiderman 3 and that Jamie Foxx Spidey, you have competition on being the worst ever Spidey movies.

Oh yeah that shyt was :picard:

How the fukk did he even end up there, breh was on an international train leaving Berlin and somehow ended up in in Broek op Langedijk.

easy.

I was an electric rail train conductor.
Peter could have been on the train during conductor swing field changes and still on the train on numerous runs.

Petey could have got his ass beat So bad..

he could have passed out. The train never went fully to the yard.
then was still on the train. The train was synched for a number of runs and a number of field change based swings for the conductor. before petey was discovered. By that time and end of unsaid number of runs and swings.
pete easily could have wound up in his location.

Gotta give sam jackson props. His portrayal seemed off and i thought it was just anxiety from the snap but it being a skrull made u go :ohhh: at the end of it all. So Im not familiar with S.W.O.R.D but im guessing the formation for the MCU is in response to thanos level threats off planet?

If that's what Fury was doing in space, that seems like the most likely reason. In the comics SWORD is a counter terrorism and intelligence agency which deals specifically with alien threats.

Okay, nitpick time lol...

How do the drones make the water monster effects? Cause dudes were getting punched by water fists and ending up soaked :heh:

And wouldn't gun shots to the dome make people realize that the victims weren't victims of an elemental?

JJJ is an Alex Jones type character with a similar platform instead of being the head of the paper like back in the day.

It's def a big moment that opens the door for a lot of things, the most important being Chameleon.

latest

He's known in the comics for impersonating people, Spidey in particular and doing fukked up shyt so turn the public against him while he runs off with the bag. His real name is Dmitri Smerdyakov, the same name as the agent that was driving the blacked out van.

Now that Mysterio has leaked the edited footage and exposed his identity, it would be the perfect time for an imposter to hit a couple licks as Spider-man to make him the fall guy and help bolster JJJ's Spidey is a menace narrative.

He also open's up a connection to Kraven The Hunter seeing how they are brothers, I know Sony was talking about doing a solo film so who knows where they go with that, but let's say Spiderman takes him out, his big bro gonna wanna run that fade.

:whoo:

I wonder if JJ was really the Chameleon.?

nikka what? :why:

Mysterio was played almost perfect. That's his lane; master manipulator, illusionist

As for Peter...

Hes 16:what:

What 16 year old is going to take the mantle of leading super/god level powered men, women and aliens? :mindblown:

Do you nikkas even know who Peter Parker is? :dajackie:

Negged and ignored

Poor quality posting :camby:

Yeah, it's two different movies but the second part is fukking amazing.

I gotta shyt on Marvel though for their depiction of the Netherlands. They make it through Italy and Eastern Europe and London without falling into any shytty European stereotypes, but the ten seconds they spend in The Netherlands is a giant ball of the most outdated stereotypes you can possibly gather. Pretty much the only thing they got right is that everyone speaks English well. :deadmanny: @Soymuscle Mike

And the JK Simmons return was godly. That was so necessary and I am glad they had the balls to say 'This is the only actor for the part and no matter what, we stick with him'. A ton of studios/franchises need to take note on that. Some actors are bigger than the need to clean your slate.

How dare they?
