I never made a big deal about framerates.
Ive always said if done right 30fps is just fine on consoles.

It's a lose-lose; whichever mode was optional would be called out for not being standard by the opposite side

These are all early games for the next gen but I thought 4k60fps was gonna be easy/standard honestly And the "performance" was gonna be 120fps.

Which makes me think they did that for a reason. They could have easily said 4k60fps without the "/" and everyone would have known what they meant. Why be vague unless you're covering something up?

Not for every game lol but I didn't think press releases of a game hitting 4k60fps was gonna be a big thing you know?
As always devs will choose the best performance spec for the game they are trying to make.
Last gen ports/upgrades can easily brute for their way to 60fps. That’s why we see the 60fps mode here and Gears 120fps mode.
Games built for next gen, the devs have to make that decision early on.
