:francis: @ kingpin being a serious physical threat to spiderman tho.

He is man. He’s always been that way. In every comic interpretation, he’s a threat. Especially in ultimate Spider-Man. The only times they write Peter as being able to take him is when he cuts loose

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
"We don't talk about that" :lolbron:

I love when these comic movies start poking fun at the idiocy of their predecessors

Had me cracking up when Deadpool did it too :russ:

Best one was still Lego Batman though.

"I've seen you go through similar phases in 2016, and 2012, and 2008, and 2005, and 1997, and 1995, and 1992, and 1989, and that weird one in 1966."
Batman: :mj:

You don't need any. It's a Miles origin story but all the other stuff is actually *uniquely* explained where the movie feeds the source material directly to you in a kind of way. You'll see what I mean. It'd be cool to check out some Spider-Man Noir and Bendis' Miles Morales though (even though this movie is a way different interpretation of the Miles character). And you might be the lost on the end credits scene if you don't know who
Spider-Man 2099
is

I always thought the only reason he was able to take Peter was because he always holds back so he won't hurt folks

But I never thought that Kingpin was supposed to be able to make folks get that call that Pete was no longer with us

Nah man Kingpin is all muscle. If he wanted to break Peter, in theory he could

Cornfields, cows, & an one stoplight town
Question for those who have seen it:

Why was the original Peter Parker not able to survive Kingpin but Miles was. Is Miles stronger? Did the collider machine make Peter weaker and more susceptible to being crushed like that? And Miles gets up and walks it off like it's nothing. Is this a pothole or a display of his superior abilities?

Yup. No need to compare this to anything else. It’s the best animated movie of the year and one of the best movies of the year. Definitely on my top 10 list

so we saying this was better than the incredibles 2?
