Question for those who have seen it:

Why was the original Peter Parker not able to survive Kingpin but Miles was. Is Miles stronger? Did the collider machine make Peter weaker and more susceptible to being crushed like that? And Miles gets up and walks it off like it's nothing. Is this a pothole or a display of his superior abilities?
Peter was already greatly weakened before Kingpin delivers that death blow. Miles only took a few hits before Kingpin made that big attack

I haven't seen one second of this and I know these dudes are lying.

Better than Black Panther? Better than Incredibles 2? Best Spider-Man movie ever? Best movie of 2018? Word? :meloword:

That new movie smell is something else :pachaha:

It's better than BP and The Incredibles 2 by miles (pun intended). I am not sure I'd put it over Spider-Man 2 but it is easily better than all other Spidey movies too. That's facts, breh.

Just see it for yourself.... To me it is indeed the BEST FILM of 2018. But that's my opinion. Plus, I was personally underwhelmed with Incredibles 2... dope film, but not nearly as great as the 1st. Into the Spider-verse maybe a game changer in animation. And yes, I put it above Black Panther... I mean, the one small problem I had with Black Panther, a movie that I loved was that I was actually cheering more for Killmonger and felt his character more than T'Challa. Being that this is supposed to be T'Challa's hero's journey, it felt bland to me. I wasn't really moved emotionally in comparison to the portrayal of Miles Morales. I haven't been emotionally drawn to a single character, both live and animated, like that in a long while. But that's my opinion, and I agree with many other stating how amazing this movie is.

I loved Black Panther but if we're talking new movie smell, lets be real, Civil War's depiction of Black Panther (costume, voice, fights) was better than his depiction in his own movie. And that last battle was embarrassingly bad CGI. Again, I love the movie, but I let a lot slide cause of what that movie meant to me.

But this movie could mean just as much to us, the representation is on-point and seamless with the story and characters. They just exist and they're great. I felt legitimately sad and happy for characters. If Mile's Morales's story was live-action, it wouldn't even be a question how good this was.

I will say: I hesitated to put this above Infinity War. In the end, I realized Infinity War isn't a standalone movie like this is. Infinity War was built on 10 years of run-up.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
It's definitely my favorite animated movie of the year, I know that.

1. Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse
2. Ralph Breaks the Internet
3. The Incredibles 2

Idk where it would rank in my top movies of the year because I don't like making lists and there's always a god movie that I forget to put in there.

He was half beaten to a pulp at that’s point. The explosion of the collider, him being buried under all that rubble and everything else.
I don’t think it’s a plot hole; their situations were totally different
