Man really talking about their kids being mad because they have to wait 9 months for a sequel. :dahell:

Dog - we waited 4 fukking years between Back To The Future 1 and 2. Five years between Ghostbusters 1 and 2. Just because that's how shyt was then. :unimpressed:

It's not like there wasn't a three year pandemic between this film and the first one either :mindblown:

Instant gratification is a motherfukker :wow:

Haven’t even tallied Sundays take yet :blessed:

That includes the Sunday estimates but still a huge opening for this.

To all the people upset about Gwen having a trans rights poster on her wall to them I say... WHO fukkING CARES. I didn't even notice it. It's not like SONY was trying to cram the shyt down your throat. A teenage white girl with a trans rights poster.. that's not unusual.

If you don't like it, go fukk yourself. If you are that bent out of shape then that probably means you are gay and need to come out. Lmao.

Thank you!

These kids mad as fukk like they've got somewhere to be, between now and March. Like they've got to fit this shyt in before the next quarter performance review or something. :russ:

Go play outside. Ride your fukking bike - it's Summer :birdman:

I’m just now seeing that IMAX runs their screens and this weekend they are pulling Spider-Man for Transformers :beli:

I think highkey some of these IMAX theaters might split showtimes between the two

At the very least AMC could’ve drummed up business the carny way by hyping up Spider-Verse being on IMAX “For One Week Only!”

I don’t even think Transformers will overtake this movie next weekend or both movies will end up pretty close to one another, it’s gonna need a ton of positive reviews to persuade people to watch that instead of Spiderman.

Also that movie has Pete Davidson, that dude is box office kiss of death :pachaha:

No. Miguel is simply wrong. He is no different from Kingpin from the first movie. Miguel was traumatized because he could never get back his family again that he purposely broke canon and paid the consequences. He cannot no matter what he believes, predict and/or regulate what is or what isn't canon. The events that happened in Into the Spider-verse in terms of Miles' origin happened just because Miles just happened to be there. The Earth-42 spider was ALREADY THERE, therefore Miles getting bit was destined to happen. Not only that the death of Peter had zero to do with Miles because Miles never intervened which means it was GOING TO HAPPEN REGARDLESS the same way the death of MIGUEL that 2099's Miguel attempted to replace was SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN and 2099's Miguel broke that.
Yea Miguel is wrong but not for the reason you are putting out. His trauma is making him misread the situation

The spider was there because Spot took him from another universe. The spider did what it was supposed to and bit Miles Morales

Peter did get distracted when he sensed another Spider-Man and tried to keep Miles safe.

Miles did apparently mess up shutting down the collider. Peter would have known how to do it. So the incursions and Spot are his fault.( but that’s par for the course in Spidey lore)
