I specifically remember when Miguel O'Hara saying that everytime a police captain have a close relationship with Spider-Man, they end up dying. And Captain Yuri Watanabe (who goes by the name of Wraith), used to be close to Spider-Man in the video game. Something tells me that she's gonna end up dying in Spider-Man 2, either by Kraven or Spider-Man himself

At the very least AMC could’ve drummed up business the carny way by hyping up Spider-Verse being on IMAX “For One Week Only!”

That def was the move. Had I known I would’ve booked IMAX and made the shyt work. We caught the movie before a planned date night in between dropping off the kids thinking shyt was sweet out here

I don’t even think Transformers will overtake this movie next weekend or both movies will end up pretty close to one another, it’s gonna need a ton of positive reviews to persuade people to watch that instead of Spiderman.

Also that movie has Pete Davidson, that dude is box office kiss of death

He was in Fast X and that movie did fine.
That said I don’t think Transformers is touching next weekends take after opening weekend hype!
This is like the 9th transformers movie (which is fine) but it isn’t breaking any new ground and the paints not fresh on that franchise.

I can only imagine what it must have felt like for audiences between 1977 and 1983 when A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi came out. The period between Empire and Jedi must have been maddening for Star Wars fans.
