OR (and I love this debate) Earth-42 spider was meant for Earth-42 Peter since that universe clearly never had a spiderman. Miles fkd it all up.

Or(yeah they definitely put some thought into it) just like on Spider-Gwen’s Earth, Peter becomes something else.

Peter Parker doesn’t always equal Spider-Man.

Thematically it’s stronger if it’s presented as he robbed someone else of their story. Jefferson died for nothing and Aaron never had a moment of redemption

Well going to have to wait, but I think Miles and his uncle are always supposed to be the Prowler. His uncle as the prowler seems to be a multiverse constant. I also think universe 42 is Spider-Man 2099 universe in the present day. His universe isn’t more advanced he’s just from the future.

That’s what I’m thinking. Remove the multiverse spider that bit Miles in his universe and you have Miles following his Uncle (starting with that graffiti scene where he gets bit, remove the bite and Uncle Aaron shows him the ropes of working for Kingpin etc).

I don’t think she is trans but she would be an ally. There was a lot of pro trans/gay/feminism stuff in her room and yes take a step back and the whole movie is about the stress of coming out to your parents.

Like both Gwen and Miles had issues due to not “outing” themselves because they think their parents would hate them. That was the theme of the movie. Gay people can make Gwen trans in their head canon like black people make Picolo black and nothing is loss.

To be fair Gwen has a trans flag on her wall. She may be an ally but who knows

I try not to, but this movie is Miles film. Yes Gwen is a huge part in it, but I wouldnt worry about that happening. Its so god damn excellent.
