You know that next theatrical trailer is probably coming with the new mission impossible breh..plus Sony is trying to keep the franchise in their studio so of course they're going to strap a rocket to its back

Finals are the last big sporting event before the movie comes out..ok well nah, forgot about the world series, but they did the same thing with skyfall if i remember correctly. But they're taking a big sporting event during the summer with that target audience and getting them hype for it.

Its james bond breh people will see it regardless. the movie is sponsoring the finals and has shown more ads than straight out of Compton and comes out 3 months after

I'm saying there wasn't enough of anything. shyt was like a collage of Bond things stuck together with no personality or heart to it. Tons of shyt happens in the movie, they kill of a Bond girl and M and still at no point did any of it feel like there was actually something at stake.

That's bc there wasn't. In all honesty it ws really a filler.

Skyfall was James bonds Dark Knight. Some of y'all must have seen a completely diff movie than I did and most critics did. There's a reason it was the biggest box office hit of the series. And no that doesn't make it great but neither did DK being the biggest batman hit ever. All I'm saying is to each their own but sky fall was terrific and I am ready to see how they follow that up with Spectre.

If you mean they unimaginatively copied a bunch of elements from The Dark Knight and called it a day, I'd agree. But in no other way did it come close to The Dark Knight in terms of quality (and TDK's quality is also severely overrated, but that's a separate debate).

If you want to get technical about it...like @MartyMcFly just said much of TDK trilogy is Bruce Wayne/Batman playing a variation of bond. The amount of action you see him as batman compared to the brooding detective inquiring deamnor is no diff than that of Craig's bond. Both series have gone the darker dramatic route with bits and pieces of mega action sequences. Which makes for better quality IMO. nothing wrong about it bc both franchises benefited from this.

Besides those like yourself who see differently but no one ever agrees on everything. Simply agree to disagree my friend.

Chris Nolan did that himself breh. He's a bond fanboy and it was obvious watching all of his batman movies. That's no diss at all but he wears his influences on his sleeve
