I'd actually recast John Leguizamo in a more serious movie. I think he could kill it if they cranked up the creepiness and toned down silliness
I loved how in the cartoon when violator transformed, he spoke telepathically and it was "soft" but it wasn't pleasant, it was like he was seering your brain. It was a nice little touch.
