Everything about the Asian dude was very off-putting to me. The fact that this dude goes around starting unions, but we never really dig deep into is motivation behind all this shyt. The fact that he fukked Cash's bytch, effortlessly (you know chicks only give part of the truth). Speaking of that yellow heifer, she was his fiancee one day, and then "messes around" with the Asian dude the next day. Then, ends up getting back with Cash. No repercussion for either her or the Chinaman. Tessa's body was looking good in those scenes where she wasn't wearing much. She still has a weird face, though. Plus, why does she play the same dumb hoe in every movie? People shyt on MBJ for being one-dimensional, but so is this bytch.
Anyway, as most Brehs said itt, the movie was amazing until the third act. I love the commentary on Late-Stage Capitalism combined with the issues of being a Black man in such a society. I actually liked the horse thing at first, although it went off the rails at the end.
I mean....that's what happens in real life.
People break up, "take breaks" and mess around with other people. shyt happens. I guess they could've had a scene where Cash confronts the Asian dude but that whole sub-plot was already extra, as-is.
As far as Tessa Thompson, I don't understand how she's one dimensional. Her last few big roles were a super hero in "Thor: Ragnarok", a soldier in "Annihilation", a CEO in "Westworld", and an alien hunter in "Men In Black".
